Fields of activity The training is mainly carried out at DESMA in Fridingen and at the vocational school. In the 1st and 2nd year of training, the trainees learn how to read technical documents, how to handle materials, how to machine by hand, how to assemble materials, the possibilities of machining and how to assemble components. In the 3rd and 4th years of training, the focus is on the manufacture of equipment parts, machine parts and assemblies, and the assembly of machines and technical systems. The training also includes the commissioning of technical systems as well as troubleshooting, maintenance and repair. Implementing technical documents to scale, planning work processes and manufacturing, setting up or converting equipment parts and assemblies for machines and production systems are all part of your job, as are monitoring and optimizing manufacturing processes and taking on repair and maintenance tasks. In addition to professional skills and knowledge and excellent training, we also teach you to be proactive and independent through joint projects for apprentices. We place great emphasis on fun at work and a good working atmosphere.
