SIGMA Series

 Small footprint,
great performance

The DESMA SIGMA series is a vertical injection molding machine that requires a minimum of floor space.

These machines are manufactured in our subsidiary plant in India for North American export. All SIGMA machines have the same construction and design criteria as our European machine series and are equipped with appropriate hydraulic and thermal oil control units. SIGMA machinesare available with several control systems (DRC 1030, DRC 2020 HT or DRC 2030 TBM). All control systems include full control of all hydraulic functions as well as temperature control. In their basic configuration, SIGMA machines include many features that are considered optional on other low-cost machines. The SIGMA seriesmachines are available in three sizes; the SIGMA 160 (1,600 kN clamping force), the SIGMA 250 (2,500 kN clamping force) and the SIGMA 400 (4,000 kN clamping force).

All SIGMA machines are equipped with our proven FIFO injection units in sizes from 350 cc to 6,000 cc. Recently, the SIGMA F-Series machines were developed and launched, with features specifically tailored to sealing and NVH applications in the automotive industry. These machines offer an even smaller footprint that allows them to be placed close together.

DESMA ALPHA series injection molding machines are available in sizes from 25 tons up to 560 tons.

These machines are manufactured in our subsidiary plant in India for North American export. All ALPHA machineshave the same construction and design criteria as our European machine series and are equipped with appropriate hydraulic and thermal oil control units. ALPHA machines are available with two control systems (DRC 1020 or DRC 2020). Both have useful functions for professional process control and process optimization. CE certification is available as an option.

ALPHA machines are available in different sizes for your individual application. The smallest machine is our ALPHA C series, which is based on a C-frame clamping system. Two sizes of the ALPHA C are available: The ALPHA 25 C (250 kN) and the ALPHA 50 C (500 kN).

All ALPHA machines are equipped with our proven FIFO injection units in sizes from 85 cc to 10,000 cc.

COMPACT SERIES

 Compact machine size,
maximum flexibility

The DESMA COMPACT seriesinjection molding machines are available in sizes from 250 to 400 tons. Built in Germany, this machine series occupies the smallest footprint within the DESMA range. The fully hydraulic clamping units are designed for long life and high performance. Many of the design and assembly features of the COMPACT series are the same asour flagship BENCHMARK. The variety of FIFO-A injection units, the fully featured DRC 2020 HT or DRC 2030 TBM control system, and proprietary hydraulics result in high performance at an attractive price. Injection unit options range from 100 cc to 6,000 cc, depending on machine size within the COMPACT series. Machines in this series come standard with CE certification and can include a variety of options, including silicone tampers, hydraulic core lifters and more.
