Christian Walterspacher is ‘Software Development/Project Manager IIOT’ at DESMA and based in design software, currently developing the DRC 2030 TBM. In addition, he still supports all SmartConnect products and is responsible for the technical aspects – i.e. installation, technical agreements with customers, new and further development of the SC4U products. He has been carrying out this activity since 2017 – before that Christian, who joined the company in 2000, worked as a service technician as well as in the hotline.

In his free time, he has been a member of the DPSG (German Scout Association of St. George) since 1989 – almost directly when he started school. First he was active as a group child and went through all age groups in the scout tribe Tuttlingen. Afterwards it went for him into the guidance team as a group leader. Here, the kids are taught the classic ‘cliché skills’ such as making fire, spending the night outdoors, building things, etc. in group lessons every week. In addition, the kids are also taught how to behave in the group, how to deal with each other, help weaker how to move and stay in nature gently, as well as activities such as tinkering and playing.

Since 2018, Christian Walterspacher has served as an elected board member. Here it’s mainly about leading the leadership team, organizing events, membership recruitment, organizing training programs for group leaders, representing the tribe in the district & diocese as well as finances.

The German Scout Association St. George is the largest scout association in Germany with nearly 100,000 members. The DPSG scout tribe Tuttlingen has just under 60 members. More info >> @dpsgtut.de
