Did you know that several elastomer applications are used in so-called ‘industrial valves’, which are not only used in industrial halls and heating systems, but also in drinking water/gas and oil supply?

In most cases, at least one rubber diaphragm specially developed for the application medium is required. The inner surface is covered with a thin elastomer layer and on the flanges outside, a rubber seal is also applied. Many of these high performance seals are produced on DESMA rubber injection molding machines.
For the ‘internal coating’, since inserts are used, vertical machines such as the DESMA 968.400 ZOB or 968.560 ZOB are usually used. Sealing rings but also diaphragms are produced on horizontal DESMA machines such as our ‘SEALMASTER’, which are optimally suited for this purpose and, with the help of e.g. a brushing system, fully automatically and reliably meet the high quality requirements.
