DESMA SmartLine increases machine and plant availability by significantly reducing production downtimes. At the same time, SmartLine helps to increase efficiency and productivity as well as value creation. In the event of a technical problem, the relevant machine circuit diagrams can be exchanged digitally via the DESMA Conference Center. Amongst others this saves travel time and labor costs for service technicians. In addition, current software updates can be carried out by an online technician directly from the DESMA Service Cockpit.

DESMA SmartPage summarizes all necessary machine information. In addition, SmartPage provides direct access to electrical and hydraulic circuit diagrams, operating instructions, installation plans and logs. This significantly minimizes search times for required documents and optimizes production processes. All common file formats can be used.
YOUR ONLINE STORE FOR SPARE PARTS
DESMA SmartShop enables a secure and user-friendly electronic procurement of spare parts. For this purpose, SmartShop has a simple search function for part numbers and a machine-specific spare parts catalog. In conjunction with SmartRemain, upcoming maintenance is evaluated and potentially failing parts are automatically displayed, triggering a timely ordering process. To clarify possible questions, spare parts can also be ordered via SmartLine with the help of a DESMA online technician.
YOUR MOBILE ACCESS
DESMA SmartApp enables the retrieval of basic machine data such as operating mode, job number, piece counter, cycle time, remaining heating time, operator and process indicator. Through a link with SmartFocus, machine status information can also be accessed. The mobile provision of the visualized data preparation, including traffic light function, also allows for a service request to be triggered via cell phone, regardless of location. The monitoring of machine master data via SmartPage and the use of the interactive SmartLine with the aid of the camera function are further functions of the SmartApp.
YOUR E-TRAINING PLATFORM
DESMA SmartTraining is a web-based interactive learning program that offers expert knowledge at the cutting edge of elastomer processing. Here, participants receive industry-related know-how in German and English. Broad specialist knowledge is needed to master modern manufacturing systems in the best possible way and to make effective use of all the possibilities. This requires continuous training, for which, unfortunately, there is often not enough time. Therefore DESMA provides this online knowledge platform in addition to the classical training and courses. For an ideal understanding and an easy handling the contents are professionally prepared and supplemented by graphics and animations. SmartTraining can be accessed worldwide from a home PC, a tablet or a smartphone.
YOUR MACHINE CONDITION MONITORING
DESMA SmartFocus enables the acquisition of production and process data, the linking of analog and digital values and the performance of temporal analyses. The data is condensed, decisive values are filtered out by means of combinations and rules and made available locally to the machine operator. The operator can thus monitor his machines through live visualization or actively involve the manufacturer in the monitoring process. The graphic provides the machine operator with important production parameters and an optimal decision-making basis for further operations.
YOUR INTELLIGENT MAINTENANCE MANAGER
DESMA SmartRemain supports preventive maintenance and servicing of machines. Based on an operating hours counter, the necessary measures are suggested. The system has an operating hour or calendar-dependent trigger function.
In addition, brief instructions and information on maintenance, e.g. required tools or wear parts, are provided. Responsibility functions regarding operators and maintenance as well as administration assignments are also part of the scope of services. The integrated traffic light function in the Customer Cockpit ensures an overview of the maintenance status of the machine at all times.
Maintenance efficiency can be optimized by a note function and the associated internal learning process. In addition, condition information can be used as a basis for timely parts procurement via SmartShop by linking it to SmartFocus.
YOUR PRODUCT AS INFORMATION CARRIER
With DESMA SmartTrace, article-related quality and production data can be read out using QR codes. This allows easy tracing of individual articles. The most important process values recorded during the production of the article can be displayed here and retrieved at any time. The communication of the machines must be logged and interpreted both in advance and retrospectively, and in the best case intelligently and automatically.
For safety-critical components, such as those used in the energy sector, traceability of the manufacturing process and detailed recording of all process-relevant parameters play a decisive role. With the help of this information, it is possible to precisely verify the quality of the entire manufacturing process at any time and throughout the life of the product.
