After his studies of business administration in Heidelberg and Freiburg, Bastian Schmid started as a trainee at DESMA in 2022 – for him a great challenge to start his professional life at an established machine builder. Since this month, Bastian has been appointed team leader in the controlling department. His field of activity includes the preparation of reports, analyses as well as the support in budget planning.

In his spare time, Bastian coaches the gymnastics youth in his home club and supports his team as an active gymnast at national and international show competitions – among others in Cape Town, Helsinki and Oslo.

When there is still some time left, he likes to get on his mountain bike and go jogging.
